Steve Schwab’s journey into the vacation rental world didn’t begin in a boardroom or with a business plan. It began on the sun‑baked streets of Rocky Point, Mexico, where he arrived after serving in the U.S. Army, looking for a new chapter and a place to build a life with purpose.
Rocky Point in the late 1990s was a town on the edge of possibility—growing, full of energy, and in need of structure. Steve noticed something quickly: homeowners were eager to share their properties with travelers, but they lacked reliable, trustworthy management. Guests wanted memorable experiences, but consistency was hard to find. And the community itself was ready for someone who could bring professionalism without losing the warmth that made the town special.
